Tooth Extractions with Comfort, Care, and Experience

From Dr. Grant McGann

Nobody wants to lose a tooth. I completely understand—it’s a tough moment, and it’s normal to feel anxious or uncertain. But when a tooth needs to come out due to decay, gum disease, crowding, or trauma, my goal is to make the process as smooth, gentle, and comfortable as possible—for both your body and your peace of mind.

As an oral surgeon, I’ve spent my entire career focused on surgical procedures like tooth extractions. Since 2008, I’ve removed thousands of teeth, and through that experience, I’ve refined a technique that is less traumatic, more efficient, and far more comfortable than traditional methods.

Why My Approach is Different

Unlike a general dentist, I’ve trained for years specifically in surgical tooth removal and have the experience to handle even the most complex cases with confidence. Over time, my technique has become second nature—muscle memory allows me to use just theright amount of force, minimizing trauma to the surrounding bone and tissue. That means:

  • Less pain
  • Less swelling
  • Faster healing
  • And often, no need for costly and uncomfortable bone grafting

I know that no one enjoys sitting in the dental chair longer than necessary. That’s why I focus on being efficient, without ever sacrificing quality or care. Patients are often surprised at how quick and comfortable their experience is.

Communication That Makes Sense

One thing my patients tell me they appreciate is how I take the time to explain things in a way that’s clear and easy to understand. Oral surgery can feel overwhelming—but I believe that when you understand what’s happening and why, it takes away a lot of the fear.

Comfortable. Calm. Painless.

To ensure your comfort, I offer IV anesthesia during extractions. This means your procedure will be painless, and you’ll be deeply relaxed or lightly asleep throughout. You won’t have to deal with the stress or discomfort often associated with dental work.
